Miss Algeria 2000 wears an unusual gown that begins with a body of 100% watercolor silk in deep tones of plum, midnight, brick red, mulberry and burgundy. The body is asymmetrical with one sleeve and covers one breast in an over exaggerated scoop neck.
Entire silk body has been absolutely painstakingly smothered, almost entirely throughout with hand sewn seed bead work in pointillism fashion picking up all the subtle blending of colors mentioned above.
Body ends at upper knee in an asymmetrical style that gives way to a very dramatic explosion of shimmering crystalline chiffon in four panels of midnight blue, plum and brick acting as the flounce of gown.
