• Designed after several patterns of women’s gowns of ancient Egyptian times, Miss Egypt 2000 brings this look together in the new millennium with a crepe white halter style evening gown that is full of filigree and hand sewn beadwork.

• Neck has been finished with an imported gold and pearl Indian filigree trim that has been hand sewn onto gown and further enhanced with hand sewn seed bead clusters of ruby seed bead beads.

• Bodice is covered in sky blue metallic sequins with pearl bead centers, hand sewn of course.

• Either hip has been enhanced with a golden appliqué of sequins and ball beads, hand sewn onto each hip complete with dangling beaded fringe with A/B teardrop beads at ends.

• Skirt section of gown has been meticulously covered in hand sewn beadwork replicating much of the pattering of that era using sequins, ball beads, seed beads and pearl beads in shades of gold, ruby, sky blue and white. Pattern is on both sides of gown.

• Hem of gown has been finished in an ultra rich and thick brocade edging  representing the churning of the Nile in white with pearl bead and large gold bead trim. Band has been further enhanced with hand sewn rows of micro sky blue sequins and ruby seed bead centers.

• Gauntlet sleeves of pleated silk chiffon in white have been added. They are edged at top and forearm in same imported Indian pearl and gold filigree trim that has been enhanced with hand sewn clusters of ruby seed beads. Sleeves are puffed and flared at wrist where they have been further enhanced with delicate hand sewn seed bead cluster rows of pearl and gold beads.

• A headpiece of ruby rhinestone and gold is edged in same Indian filigree gold and pearl trim which gives way to a flowing veil of sky blue chiffon which frames gown perfectly.

• Drop earrings in garnet teardrop bead and pearl. Doubled necklace and dangling forehead charm in gold and garnet rhinestone.

• Black hair has been trimmed and heat straightened to be Egyptian. Don’t even ask for big hair on this doll – doesn’t work! Leave that for pageantland.
