Non-Finalist Awards
This page is dedicated to NiniMomo's 5 awards given in the Doll of the World 2004 competition. The Delegates that DO NOT finish in the Top 15 are eligible for these awards. Below we have listed the criteria for each award and the 5 delegates that have won these awards. These dolls have received the most amount of votes for this category. If the winning delegate for a non-finalist award finishes in the Top 15 of the Competition, then her non-finalist award gets passed on to the next eligible delegate.
CATEGORY #1
Most Beautiful Non-Finalist Face/Hair
This award is given to the Delegate NOT among the Top 15 with the most expressive and alluring face/hair. All other elements of this delegate are not part of the criteria for judging this competition. Judges are simply looking for the delegate with the most beautiful face/hair - sort of like a "Miss Photogenic"

Most Beautiful Non-Finalist Gown
This award is given to the Delegate NOT among the Top 15 with the most Beautiful Gown. Accessories can also be part of this award but face and hair is not a criteria for judging this competition. Judges are simply looking for a gown that is elegant and Captivating.
CATEGORY #3
Haute-Couture Non-Finalist Doll
This award is given to the Delegate NOT among the Top 15 with the most Original Gown. Judges are specifically looking for a gown that epitomizes "Haute-Couture." Simplicity is not part of the criteria for judging this competition. Judges are looking for an ensemble that exemplifies "trendy" or "Funky" - something one may see as the highlight on a fashion show's runway!

Most Exotic Non-Finalist Doll
This award is given to the Delegate NOT among the Top 15 with the most Exotic Gown. This is very different from the Haute Couture Award in that the criteria for judging this competition is to seek out the delegate that seems to have captured her nation's flavor. The outfit may be authentic, traditional, dramatic and elaborate.
CATEGORY-#5
Honorable Mention Non-Finalist Doll
This award is given to the Delegate NOT among the Top 15 that owners, Nik and Marie feel was the most overlooked Delegate within the competition not placing as high as they feel is deserved.
