as doll artists, we were more than happy to donate 6 centerpiece dolls to the 2008 convention. as many of you know, the "barbie on the runway" theme was just up our alley. these centerpiece dolls are displayed as centerpieces on each table at the convention. there were a total of 103 centerpiece dolls created by a tremendous group of artists. at the end of the night, one lucky person sitting at each table gets to take home a centerpiece doll. each table was themed after a particular designer and that designer doll was the centerpiece for that particular table. ninimomo was given versace, mugler, lacroix, dior, givenchy and armani to recreate. below are the finished products! and thank you joe for all these great photos!

this mugler was inspired by long time customer, jay zielinski back in 1998 when he commissioned ninimomo to create miss poland in the vision of mugler. to this day, this is one our favorite designs.

as host of the armani table, it was excellent to see our very own creation as the table centerpiece! as you can see, the convention did a tribute to all of the donating artists and did a fabulous slideshow presentation. above is a shot of our armani creation as she appeared on the screen.
