dwane's profession in architecture and interior design has also lead him to be a former asid (american society of interior design) michigan chapter president. well known in his area of work, he is equally well known in the world of barbie. currently, he is co-chair for the 2010 national barbie convention, barbie and the rockers - cleveland. in addition, he was chair for the 2001 national barbie convention and will be chairing next year's national barbie convention, barbie and ken - spring break 1961, to be held in ft. lauderdale. always active in the barbie community, dwane has worked on several national barbie conventions in various chair positions including the fashion show and has been attending the conventions since 2000. a member of the great lakes fashion doll club since 1994, dwane also volunteers with the grant a wish convention each year.
