• Miss Galveston is radiant in her couture retro inspired evening ensemble which begins with a peplum jacket in pale yellow 100% silk crepe de chine.

• Jacket features collar, lapel, and ¾ sleeves and has been richly accented through upper portion with scattered hand-sewn tiny sequins and seed beads in shades of clear and pale yellow.

• Just below breasts is a thin “belt” of same silk crepe de chine and below that is a delicate array of vertically hand-sewn alternating stripes of sequins and seed beads in both sunny and soft shades of yellow.

• ¾ sleeves have also been adorned with same vertical hand-sewn alternating stripes of beadwork as well as scattered hand-sewn beadwork above.

• Below thin belt, jacket flares out into a dramatic peplum style.

• Jacket has been accented at center with a bouquet of two genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone flowers surrounded by custom made hand-sewn burnished gold leaf sequins.

• Skirt, also in same 100% silk crepe de chine in pale yellow is form-fitting at waist and has been beautifully hand-beaded to match jacket in alternating vertical stripes of sequins and seed beads.

• Below hand-sewn beadwork dramatically gorgeous tiers of custom dyed 100% silk chiffon has been added in graduated tones of rich apple green to sage to yellow to pale yellow.

• Chiffon has been draped around skirt in a scalloped fashion creating a gorgeous display of both color and texture.

• Ensemble is accompanied by a matching large chapeau also in pale yellow crepe de chine silk which has been festooned at top with a multitude of hand-sewn tufts of yellow blending to green deconstructed organza. A “hat” pin at center has been created using a large Swarovski crystal bicone.
