with more than 30 years in the business communications sector, i have assisted corporate executives across several industries: health, electric, gas and oil. In addition, i was sole proprietor of a small business providing editorial and audio transcription services for financial and medical documents, instruction manuals, and employee and general communications.

i believe in giving back to the community by donating to and becoming involved in various charities and charitable events. i am a great supporter of the united way of central maryland and volunteer as a tutor with the dyslexia tutoring program for baltimore City.

like barbie, i have an infinity to travel, meet new people and experience the beauty of different cultures. most recent travels include the dominican republic, and many areas of mexico, including riviera maya, yukatan peninsula, los cabos, todos santos and the beautiful city of acapulco.

i rekindled my love for barbie through a business friendship and now have an extensive collection that i enjoy nurturing and sharing. as my motto goes, “my heart throbs for vintage,” but I do have a diverse collection including barbie collectible, playline, older/vintage “collectible” playline, silkstones, and ooaks. i began attending the national barbie doll collectors convention in 2008 and have not missed one since; this will be my fifth year!
