NiniMomo's Miss Swaziland 2000 - blast from the past

From the Southeast African monarchy of Swaziland comes this most remarkable NiniMomo creation in a brand new style of evening wear that blends haute couture with an Erte art deco feel!

This stunning beauty wears a two piece gown that begins with an abstract shaped bandeau top of olivine rich satin that has been smothered in layered hand sewn beadwork of avocado matte metallic sequins, micro kiwi textured sequins and gold seed bead centers.

Skirt of same rich olivine satin has been bedecked along side with two sizes of micro gold metallic sequins with olivine centers, hand sewn of course.

What makes this gown truly amazing is its usage of multiple lengths of gold plated olivine shimmering rhinestone chain! This is truly a fabulous creation!

9 staggering lengths of gold plated olivine rhinestone chain cover left breast, travel over shoulder and loop around to gather at lower edge of bandeau creating a staggered tiered pattern of shimmering rhinestones.

Then, an additional 6 strands of same gold plated olivine rhinestone chain have been attached at left waist continuing the tiered pattern of chain which drapes around to back of gown. Continuing this art deco look is an evening wrap of faux fur in deepest avocado inspired particularly by one of Erte’s famed designs. Two panels of fur wrap around arm and travel to other wrist attaching via two bracelets of olivine rhinestone chain.

A headband of three strands of gold plated olivine rhinestone chain have been appropriately adorned with four jonquil feathers – very Erte!
