The Search Begins!

With just a few more Delegates to be released in both our International Pageant Collection and National Pageant Collection, the time has come to begin the quest to find the crème de la crème from each group. Never before has there been such a competitive field of NiniMomo Delegates vying for both titles and this year's judges will surely have their work cut out for them. And this year, for the first time, over half of the judging panel will consist of both NiniMomo customers and fans.

Since NiniMomo's beginning in 1996, the company has celebrated their work and their customers by hosting a pageant at the close of each collection, choosing the most stunning delegate to represent NiniMomo for the year. Hosting this competition is a wonderful way for our valued customers to win discounts towards future NiniMomo Delegates. The Winner's owner receives a 35% discount off a future purchase while their Delegate wins the sash, the crown, the flowers and the title, "NiniMomo's Doll of the World "or "NiniMomo's Doll of the USA".

Within the past few years, NiniMomo Delegates have become more and more elaborate with signature hand-beaded detailing as well as haute-couture patterning. Hence, in the case of the International Pageant Collection, we divided the 270+ Delegates into 2 years worth of judging. The first half of the current International Pageant Collection 2007/2008 has already competed earlier in the year and the 2008 winner was Miss Spain, owned by Leonid Batekhin of Moscow, Russia.

Now, with fierce competition in the forecast, which of the remaining 135 Delegates will make it to the first round of competition for NiniMomo's Doll of the World 2009? Once the collection is completed, we will be announcing our 76 first round competitors. It is still too early to say but we have some favorites here at NiniMomo! Could these dazzling beauties below be NiniMomo's own personal choices for the crown? Time will tell....

In the case of the National Pageant Collection, as you can see, we are a year behind schedule. We never realized how much more work has been going into our later Delegates since 2005. To catch us up to date, the winner of this year's Doll of the USA competition will represent both 2007 and 2008.

And who can be the front runner for the National crown? This year's National Pageant Collection is chock full of strong competition and choosing a winner will be an extremely difficult task. With so many stunning representatives from various cities and American territories, will this year be the first year the title will go to a non-state representative? Or are the state reps as strong as ever? Here are just a few of the stunners eligible for the crown...can one of these beauties be the next wearer of the crown?

It is still too early to tell who will wear both crowns for the year however there are a few Delegates that are guaranteed "free passes" into the final group of judging. These are the Delegates that have won their individual mini-pageants.
