began: Mesopotamia, Assyria, Babylonia, etc., comes this
intoxicating beauty oozing class, style, sophistication and
regality.

Miss Iraq 2000
wears an absolutely classic gown in a rich silk organza
that features horizontal bands of saffron alternating
with rich panel bands of filigree and florets against an
antique rose background.

The saffron bands which
would normally be translucent are absolutely
painstakingly smothered in hand sewn beadwork of saffron
colored seed beads in a pointillism style. Bands are
covered immaculately and accented every so often with
rows of three hand sewn peach pearl beads.

The bands of filigree
and floret have been adorned with pale peach and white
Chinese satin roses and a multitude of white, pearl and
pale antique peach seed beads.

Bodice has been further
accented at top and upper waist with a hand sewn border
of pearl flower trim.

A very dramatic wrap of
marabou in white adds the va-voom to this ensemble.

A matching choker of
gown’s material hand beaded to match, of course with
a border of same pearl flower trim as used on bodice.

Drop earrings of pearl
flowers, genuine Czech crystal rhinestone iridescent
