Paradise in the South Pacific, Fiji, with its diverse population sends this stunning representative in a gown from famed Japanese avant-garde designer Yumi Katsura.

Miss Fiji wears a n elaborate ball gown that begins with a bodice of shimmering black organza overlaid upon nude ecru taffeta.

Bodice features delicate halter straps of intricate black lace which crisscross down front of bodice and travel down ball gown creating the lattice pattern depicted.

Various other delicate ribbons have been sewn on to gown creating more of the lattice patterned theme of gown in various styles.

Ribbon has been gorgeously enhanced with hand-sewn beadwork of mixed seed beads and sequins in various beaded patterns and various shades and shapes of gunmetal and black.

Throughout ball skirt, layered large fabric flowers in black have been hand-sewn on to gown and they too have been bedecked with hand-sewn beadwork as well as genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in amethyst and nut brown.

Scatterings of black fabric leaves have also been hand-stitched to gown and anchored via seed bead and genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in amethyst.

Large ball skirt consists of dual layers of shimmering black organza overlaid upon nude ecru taffeta.

A delicate yet dramatic three layered shawl of black tulle frames Miss Fiji gorgeously.

A striking headpiece created from various black feathers, curled, and snipped has been custom painted with white detailing.

Wide choker and bracelet of black organza have been encrusted with genuine Swarovski and Czech crystal rhinestones in amethyst, peacock and jet black.

Platinum hair has been braided and worn in a pileup complete with curled ends creating an extension of headdress. Ends have been adorned with genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones and vintage amethyst cabochons.
