Located in the
northern part of the mountainous Caucasus region, the republic of Alania (or
North Ossetia) has held a very important place in medieval history.
Representing this Russian republic is a very haute couture Diva who combines
an aire of Missoni with a hint of Dominatrix.
Miss Alania is smashing in long sleeved, high neck evening gown in shades of black, white and gray in a gorgeous knit fabric inspired by the great designer, Missoni.
Gown’s geometric chevron pattern has been bedecked with painstakingly hand-sewn beadwork in tiny sequins and seed beads in shades of black, white and gray, some opaque, some transparent and translucent, all with matching tiny seed bead centers and some areas filled soley with hand-sewn seed beads.
Down center of gown, Missoni print has been accentuated via tiny genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in crystal argent, jet black, and crystal adding a sheen and shimmer to this already glitzy gown.
Sleeves which have been also hand-beaded are topped off with lush, faux leather black gloves which feature back slits and folds.
Hem of gown finished in a jagged hem which has been finished off with a row of hand-sewn pewter metallic sequins with matching seed bead centers. Every point of jagged edge capped off with a matching gunmetal glass ball beads.
Neck of gown is uber dramatic with its thick metallic mirror turtleneck which is sewn corset style at back via silver threading.

Spike earrings of mixed genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones and silver metallic beads. Hair has been adorned with unusual shimmering silver textured ball beads.

Hair has been custom re-rooted by Raphael Estrada in a deep streaked auburn. Hair has been gorgeously and uniquely braided and worn in a free standing looped heart shape. At back several oval sheets of metallic mirror and seed beads have been added.
