• Hydrangea is extremely common in the Azores and blankets much of the landscape so we thought it would be perfect to have Miss Azores gown be reflective of this gorgeous flower.

• Miss Azores is an ethereal princess in her evening gown that begins with a portrait crisscross collar of 100% silk charmeuse in a soft powder blue that covers breasts and frames shoulders.

• Portrait collar has been gorgeously enhanced with two bold silver plated leaves created from a vintage estate sale pink. Leaves feature powder blue rhinestones from original pink but we have bedecked each leaf with an explosion of sparkling genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone in shades of pale leaf green, light sapphire, Montana blue, light amethyst, A/B turquoise and lime.

• A sheer, sexy nude body suit featuring long sleeves composed the remainder of the bodice and this too has been smothered in hand-sewn beadwork of translucent and iridescent tiny clear sequins without seed beads. Beadwork covers arms and stomach.

• Cuffs of same 100% silk charmeuse in powder blue feature buttons of hand-sewn genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones.
