From the west coast comes this absolutely stunning sunny Californian beauty in a unique evening gown that celebrates the “bird of paradise” flower which is a common garden flower in her state.

Miss California makes a bold statement in this stunning evening gown of midnight blue silk taffeta that has been covered from top to bottom in matching shimmering blue textured hand-sewn sequins with matching seed bead centers.

Exotic and unique is the hand-sewn “Bird of Paradise” flower that runs the entire length of gown.

Bodice features a large bloom, featuring free-standing petals in matching midnight blue taffeta, all of which have been smothered in painstakingly hand-sewn beadwork in the plethora of colors in this gorgeous flower: orange, yellow, red, blue, green, and purple.

The stem of the flower runs down gown in hand-sewn seed beads in shades of green and hem of gown has been finished in a brilliant splash of color as another hand-sewn “Bird of Paradise blooms onto the gown.

In addition, small sprigs of fern surround the hem of gown in hand-sewn seed beads.

Coming off left shoulder is a strap of three braided chiffon panels, one of which is a gorgeous silk chiffon in lame in deep midnight with gold undertones. The remaining panels consist of two deep, rich blue chiffons.

All three panels open up, framing gown and cascading down to the floor.

Matching silk taffeta gauntlets feature upper arm accents of tiny satin leaves which have been gorgeously covered in hand-sewn beadwork to match gown.

A unique hat accompanies the gown in wired hand-sewn strands of seed beads depicting petals and leaves attaching to a small midnight blue silk taffeta knotted band.

Spike earrings of mixed genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones.
