the moment a delegate steps foot onto the turf of the host city, she is under constant scrutiny. this marks the beginning of days filled with excitement, nerves, hard work and that constant smile. the "public face" emerges as each delegate enters the arrivals building of the host city and it's a good idea to wear that face proudly. she is immediately bombarded by pageant photographers, local news reporters, fans, chaperones and staff. whether a delegate spent two hours or two days in the air, she needs to shine brightly upon arrival - looking her best and donning her best travel clothing. "don't judge a book by its cover is the saying" but we all know "first impressions" are the key!
