We Can Do Anything Right, Barbie

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 1999

We've just arrived back from Pittsburgh, site of the 1999 Barbie Convention. Like last year, we had a load of fun, met a lot of people, saw old friends and drank excessively, well, one of us did. There were a couple of highlights and surprises at this year's convention as well! Mattel supplied us conventioneers with a very special limited edition 40th Anniversary Barbie Doll. If you are familiar with this, you know she came in blonde and African American. Well, this one is a brunette and there were only 1000 produced.
