As a decadent Maharajah. Indian Ken for 2009/2010 wears a classic Indian styling
Traditional ¾ length coat in rich satin brocade featuring metallic gold filigree ribbon along all sides and cuffs.
Golden ribbon accented with hand-sewn beadwork of golden metallic sequins and lavender seed beads.
Coat’s elbows have been bedecked with cabochon and rhinestone charms.
Underneath, Indian ken wears an off-white georgette tunic with matching “genie” pants.
Pant’s cuffs have been finished in a hand-sewn row of gold and lavender sequins and seed beads.
Rich gold and white silk lame brocade slippers have been adorned with scattered hand-sewn beadwork.
Indian ken wears an opulent turban of jacket’s same brocade which has been richly embellished with hand-sewn rhinestone, cabochon and burnished gold charms. A tuft of feathers atop the turban completes the look.
