In addition to Facial Painting, Flocking and Rooted Lashes, This Ken Features:
From the largest island of the West Indies rich with its tobacco and sugar production as well as its colorful musical rhythms comes NiniMomo’s Cuba Ken in his festive dance attire
Cuba Ken dons a Cuban influenced top in red opaque chiffon which ties at center chest.
Top features ruffled long sleeves in chiffon shades of red, fuchsia, turquoise, peach, tangerine, jonquil and salmon.
Each alternating ruffle has been richly edged in hand-sewn beadwork of sequins and seed beads in gunmetal silver.
“V” neck of top has also been finished in the same hand-beaded row of gunmetal sequins and seed beads.
A red 100% silk charmeuse pleated cummerbund has been decadently edged along edges in hand-sewn gunmetal sequin and seed beads.
Cummerbund gives way to white 100% silk charmeuse pants which also feature ruffled layers of chiffon from chin to foot.
These ruffles also feature hand-beaded edges alternating from top ruffle to lowest ruffle in gunmetal.
Where ruffles meet pants, a red chiffon band has been added and covered in hand-sewn sequins and seed beads.
Cuba Ken dons the traditional Cuban straw hat complete with a black satin ribbon.
NiniMomo’s festive Cuba Ken plays the conga drum with his very own 1:6 scale drum complete with faux leather straps.
