From the landlocked East African nation of Burundi, colonized by Germany in the late 1800s comes this striking Diva in a sexy and very unique tribal inspired evening ensemble.
Miss Burundi wears an evening gown that begins with a very sexy top consisting of a Mediterranean blue satin diamond at center chest that has been covered in hand-sewn beadwork of translucent matching sequins with tomato red seed bead centers.
Emanating from this diamond, creating the top, are over two dozen hand-sewn strands of seed beads in sapphire, tomato and turquoise, all of which drape around to meet at open back.
A very sexy three paneled skirt in Mediterranean blue silk charmeuse features the main panel covered in am African inspired chevron print of hand-sewn turquoise bugles and tomato red seed beads.
Each of the three panels are tipped off with hand beaded fringe tassels of mixed seed beads and glass cube and oval beads in tomato and turquoise.
Playing off the top’s center diamond, a matching identical diamond has been created, hand beaded and attached to left hip.
The inspiration for this ensemble came from Miss Burundi’s psychedelic pantyhose in an abstract pattern of blues, turquoises and tomato reds. Pantyhose are also silver sparkled.
Finally, a complementing sexy marabou wrap in turquoise complete with hand beaded tassel fringe of glass beads is the final touch.
