Miss Chicago is a vision in her origami inspired intricately constructed evening gown that begins with a strapless shell bodice of luscious custom dyed minty green 100% silk shantung.
This simple strapless silk shantung bodice gives way to a full skirt of custom dyed mint green shimmering crystalline chiffon in a large full ball skirt.
The magic begins with the outer shell of the gown starting with multiple vertical panels of custom dyed mint green silk shantung that rests upon the bodice of gown trailing down atop the full ball skirt.
Panels cinch at waist and life off base at top edges.
These panels have been gorgeously, painstakingly and uniquely crafted in the style of origami with pleated sides and wired inside.
Pieces of panel that border bodice can be posed and folded over as in a classic Japanese flower.
Skirt too has been covered in these varying panel lengths of custom dyed 1005 silk shantung in mint green, some overlapping, some single.
Panels on skirt are wider with larger pleats and also have been wired for posing.
