This McQueen inspired evening gown begins with a dramatic, form-fitting coat in gold jacquard that features a lovely high-collar, long sleeves and a length that falls to just below the thighs.
This coat has been painstakingly and tediously covered in individually hand-sewn tiny faux feathers.
Each of these “feathers” has been specially heat cut into their shapes from both gold lame and burnished gold metallic lame.
Feathers, more than 1000, have been hand-sewn onto coat in specific patterning to create a beautiful fanned effect.
Emanating from just below where this majestic coat ends, a dramatic flounce of light cream organza flows.
Organza has been custom hand-painted with a pattern of filigree scrolls which have been painstakingly covered in hand-sewn beadwork in mixed metallic gold seed beads and sequins encompassing entire circumference of skirt.
Dual layers of matching cream organza sit beneath this mermaid flounce.
Hair has been accented with a crown of burnished gold Bali beads, a gold enamel charm and antique butterscotch pearl beads.
