Miss D.C. makes a bold statement in her 18th century inspired couture evening ensemble inspired from Carven.
Ensemble begins with a sleeveless bodice created to fit like a vest in 100% silk crepe back satin in a beautiful salmon shade.
Bodice has been covered with hand-sewn gold metallic filigree beadwork in seed beads and sequins.
Bottom border of “vest” bodice has been edged with an antique gold embroidered lace which has been absolutely smothered with sparkling genuine Swarovski tiny crystal rhinestones in shades of clear, aurora borealis, salmon and rose.
This Swarovski accenting creeps up the vest slightly where it is mixed with hand-sewn scattered amber and gold metallic seed beads creating a gorgeously rich look.
Five genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone tiny flowers have been added as “buttons” for vest.
Upper portion of bodice has been edged with delicate white lace.
Atop the bodice is a matching salmon 100% silk crepe back satin three-quarter coat which features a high standing collar and long sleeves.
Coat has been festooned with hand-beaded filigree patterning, again in metallic gold sequins and seed beads.
