From the nation’s smallest state, the Ocean State in New England, comes this ready to take the crown debutante in another inspired evening gown from Dior’s Fall 2010 couture collection.
Unique and radiant, Miss Rhode Island wears a decadent ball gown that begins with a deep plunging asymmetrical bodice of 100% silk taffeta in black.
Bodice has been created in a faux crossover style and features custom made ruffled edging.
Top has also been subtly edged in black tulle creating an interesting texture.
Top has been bedecked with hand-sewn beadwork in matching miniscule black sequins and seed beads.
Bodice connects to dramatic, asymmetrical ball skirt panels also in same 100% silk black taffeta.
This intricately created ball skirt begins with three large asymmetrical panels of black taffeta, all of which have been edged in custom made ruffles.
Each panel has also been gorgeously bedecked with scattered hand-sewn beadwork in black using a variety of different sizes sequins and seed beads.
Beneath these panels, two of which drape to floor on one side, are four exquisitely hand-painted panels of large, detailed pansies in yellow, black and red painted on 100% silk georgette in sunny yellow.
Each of these four exquisite panels have been decadently bedecked with over a gross and a half of scattered clusters of genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones sparkling throughout in shades of red, yellow and Jet black – truly stunning.
These four custom painted pansy panels have been strategically sewn on to ball gown.
Beneath these silk painted panels and black taffeta is a dramatic underskirt of custom dyed sunny yellow tulle which features three tiers at one side and long layers on other side including a layer of black tulle.
Translucent yellow and black layered flower earrings feature genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone centers.
Dual rings adorn each hand while wrists have been bedecked with sparkling genuine Swarovski crystal bicone beaded bracelets in yellow, black and red.
A crown of layered flower charms in translucent yellow and black feature centers of Siam red genuine Swarovski crystal bicones.
