From Russia with love comes the epitome of classic couture inspired by famed designer Thierry Mugler in one his most famous pieces.
Miss Russia has her eye on the crown in her elaborate evening gown in flesh toned 100% silk chiffon which has been custom painted in subtle variations.
Gown features long off-the-shoulder sleeves, dramatic peplums on hips and a sheer collar piece in nude.
Gown’s bodice has been smothered in intricate hand-sewn beadwork in mixed clear and aurora borealis translucent sequins along with accents of deeper champagne and beige throughout.
Sleeves have been dramatically finished in hand-sewn beadwork of same clear and a/b sequins blending to champagne and beige and finally to bronze and black at cuffs.
Remainder of gown has been painstakingly covered in same hand-sewn beadwork, blending subtly throughout in shades of clear, aurora borealis, champagne, beige, amber gold and then darker shades of bronze, brown and black along hem.
Once the initial hand-sewn beadwork has been complete, we went back into the gown and added dozens upon dozens of dangling hand-sewn fringe in seed beads, all in appropriate shades of gown’s shading subtleties.
Much of this painstakingly hand-sewn fringe feature tips of tiny sequins while towards hem and down amber center, the tips have been created in genuine Swarovski crystal bicones.
Hand-sewn fringe is also evident at wrists and is exceptionally heavy along hem and peplums.
At neck, a sparkling genuine Swarovski crystal drop necklace has been created in Swarovski rhinestones.
Drop earrings in genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones and cubic zirconia.
