From the volcanic island just off the Italian mainland, famed for its historical ruins and gorgeous beaches comes this Southern Italian Bella Donna in a stunner inspired by fellow Italian designer, Roberto Cavalli.
Miss Sicily makes a bold statement in her Cavalli inspired evening gown that begins with a sheer, nude, sparkle knit sweetheart bodice that has been adorned with tiny hand-sewn black sequins and seed beads which dip in a loose “v” formation at front.
Attached to either bodice tip are two flowing panels of sheer, black chiffon which have been adorned along bottom half of each with tufts of hand-sewn marabou in shades of deep pumpkin, black, white, fuchsia and purple.
Bodice gives way to a stunning skirt in 100% silk abstract watercolor from non-other that Roberto Cavalli’s own line of fabrics!
Gown has been fully bedecked with hand-sewn beadwork of mixed tiny sequins and seed beads in shades of gown’s intricate color pattern: white, black, fuchsia, purple, rust and orange which has been added from waist to hem.
Gown’s elaborate flowing skirt has been constructed with gaudets allowing for a dramatic flowing flair.
Gown has also been accented with tiny tufts of hand-sewn marabou along lower half of gown in shades of fuchsia, purple, rust, black and white.
