From the East Coast heading south comes the epitome of runway couture in a resplendent evening gown inspired by the Fall 2011 Alexander McQueen collection.
Miss Virginia makes her mark in an evening gown that begins with a halter style bodice in nude sheer organza.
This top has been meticulously and so very artistically hand-beaded in a rich abstract pattern much like the original McQueen (except in pink) in tiny seed beads and sequins all in shades soft pink, iridescent and medium pink.
This exquisite example of fine beadwork is evident on the entire back of bodice as well.
Bodice gives was to an ultra dramatic ball skirt that features an opulent and impressive train which bellows out a great length.
Skirt has been created in sheer nude organza and has been gorgeously and painstakingly constructed via a lengthy process of cutting well over 5 yards of custom dyed pink tulle into strips which have then been individually hand-sewn onto the enormous skirt in a pattern of swirls and semi-circles over and over until skirt has been completely filled.
Once skirt has been covered in this abstract pattern of hand-sewn tulle, the tulle is shaved down to the right length.
Drop earrings in mixed seed beads, semi-precious clear stone beads, genuine Swarovski pearl beads as well as genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone rondelles and rhinestone studs.
