Miss Salem was created to celebrate the Piceno Convention’s Halloween theme and what better way to represent the U.S. than a witch Delegate from the famed seaport town infamous for its Witch Trials in 1692.
Miss Salem is ready to take on the competition in her sexy and dark evening gown in 100% silk charmeuse in black.
Bodice features a very deep plunging neckline with long, billowy sleeves in black gauzy lace.
Bodice has been smothered in shimmering genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in Jet black with accents of green, orange and purple Swarovski.
Coming off back of bodice is a silk charmeuse collar which has been covered on the inside with hand-sewn matching black sequins.
Back of collar has been richly accented in scattered genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones.
Sleeves’ flared cuffs have been delicately edged in hand-sewn black sequins and seed beads.
Tips of cuffs have also been accented in hand-beaded tiered fringe of seed beads and genuine Swarovski crystal bicones.
A dramatic corset complete with peplum has been constructed in 100% genuine leather complete with dotted patent leather pattern.
Corset features at front and back lace-up ribbon via tiny silver rivets.
Peplum has been accented along entire top and bottom edges in tiny purple metallic nailheads and features an under layer of deconstructed purple silk chiffon.
A form-fitting skirt in 100% black silk charmeuse flares at the ankles into several wired strips which curl at the ends.
Emanating from each end of these “octopus” like tips are tufts of black web lace hand-sewn on via hand-beaded fringe in seed beads and genuine Swarovski bicones.
Skirt has been absolutely smothered in dazzling genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones mainly in Jet black with accents of green, purple and orange Swarovski rhinestones in a pave effect.
At knees, Swarovski rhinestones begin to drizzle down onto octopus panels.
A black tulle underskirt sits beneath octopus tendrils and has been fitted with dozens of deconstructed lengths of mixed purple silk chiffons, black sheened silk chiffon, black organza and webbed lace.
Miss Salem wears the quintessential witch’s hat constructed in 100% silk taffeta featuring a decorated brim in unusual green medallion nailheads alternating with shimmering genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in purple velvet and hyacinth orange.
A layer of webbed lace has been added to hat.
Of course our Salem witch would not be complete with her custom broomstick done in dazzling peacock spikes.
Broomstick has been decorated with a shimmering deep purple lame which has been adorned with scattered dazzling genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones.
Drop earrings in genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone rondelles and studs, Swarovski crystal bicones and vintage orange teardrop beads.
Hair has been custom re-rooted with a lush, deep purple and worn in a twisted side chignon complete with fanned edges.
Finally, Miss Salem carries a spooky faux patent leather black pumpkin which has been decorated with tiny hand-sewn sequins and features heat cut organza leaves, beaded spirals and a custom made brown faux leather stem.
